Well, Mike's company that he works for is struggling to find jobs. Apparently it is a problem for a lot of companies right now. Makes sense though. So he is looking for any finish carpentry side jobs, or any other side jobs he would be able to do. If any of you have any ideas please let us know. He is also looking for a finish carpentry job with a bigger company in case this doesn't change very quickly. Please keep us in your prayers. We are trying to realize it is not something we have control over, doing all we can do to change it, and trying to give the rest to the Lord and not worry.
On the bright side we have gotten to go to the park as a family a couple of times and have really been enjoying the time Mike can spend at home!! :) It is really benefiting Jacob to have some good quality 'Dad play time'. I just can't provide the same kind of interaction. Eleanor too is SO happy to have Daddy around. She is definitely a Daddy's girl!
